Belgium to Luxembourg | Bicycle Touring Europe

When we enter Belgium in the evening things become challenging immediately. Luckily the next morning brings great weather and we head out to explore some unexpected sights. We cross through Liége and cycle along a debris laden river Ourthe. Some real highlights ar the cold misty mornings and cycling into Luxembourg for the first time. We take some of your questions and try to give a dedicated answer!

    1. Hi Everybody! The adventure continues and we are stoked on being out and about again 🏕 Do you have any plans on going out yourself coming months? Wishing you a great day, E&M

    2. It’s a ritual, sacred, no guilt, and to fully celebrated……after all we’re just human with our unique strengths and limitations = it’s a gift from our Loving Creator 😁 BTW I enjoy ALL your excellent videos: THANK YOU BOTH

    3. I watched this not sure how I didn't comment, I am a tea man , and have had to wife's so caffeine didn't work ha ha 😅 great video guys found it at bottom of your own .

    4. Me and my girlfriend once became convinced that we had several bears, roaring, around our tent one night in the Pyrenees. After a while we heard a gunshot and I was SO GLAD to hear it. The roaring didn't stop but the next day it became apparent that the noise was actually red deer.
On the whole though guns SUCK.

    5. Welcome back!! I need a morning coffee in a cafe. I currently live alone in a small flat without much natural light and having a coffee out is my way to get out of the flat and see life. However, I wonder how much I can save by not having coffee out. Anyway, I'd love to do this ride you're doing.

    6. Hey, really enjoying your adventures; Try buying some dandelion root, dried. It has a good bitter taste and good colour, add your preferred milk and it makes a good substitute to coffee

    7. Great video guys. We’re just about to head off on a cycle adventure but are now worried about ticks. Is there anyway to avoid picking them up? Or are they everywhere?

    8. the last time i quit caffine i had very serious and painfull migranes for about two weeks. i would take very hot baths in the morning and wear wet beanies to calm the migranes.

two years before, i single coffee, unaddicted, the net day i would/could have a headache.

it was an increasing effect brought on by, I Think, high caffine and changing dose.

caffine shrinks your brain they say now

    9. Ah, coffee. Yes! It fixes so much, maybe everything. I can drink coffee in the morning. I can drink it a night. I can drink 5 star coffee. I can drink gas station coffee. Lol. Ok, a little trivia. I have a Starbucks travel french press I've had for 20 years! In an insulated mug. Pretty cool! And I was using a jetboil 20 years ago too. Their first model. I'm a big fan of Starbucks. I was 20 years ago, before it was popular! If you sign up for their rewards, you get free refills and free rewards, like sandwiches! Now I mostly drink coffee at home, with a Hamilton beach instant coffee maker. Like a keurig, but with a basket instead of the k-cup. And lately, Aldi's coffee, it's a bargain. Enjoy and safe travels! 👍 ✌️

    10. Well, I know it sounds crazy. I lived in this perfect little town called Camarillo in California. It has the 2nd best climate in the world besides Monaco. 70 degrees year round, even in winter. 10 minutes from the beach. And the mountains meet the beach. It was incredible.

    11. I do not understand this- if wild camping is illegal in Belgium, how come you are wildcamping in Belgium? Is it a matter of not being found out?

    12. Coffee! Yes! ☕️☕️☕️ gotta have it! Did a little camping and MTB riding this spring. Tested my new bikepacking coffee set up. 👍

    13. I'm curious. I am touring Europe next summer but loooooove my coffee. WITH MILK. Is it feasible to travel with milk . Are there options ie: dried milk or something else. Thanks

    14. For ticks, would suggest 20% picaridin spray. Not toxic. Will not degrade synthetics or plastics like DEET. You can spray it on both skin and clothing.

I live and camp in a very high Lyme disease area (Iowa , USA) . This works well for me.

      Hope this helps!
