    Serbian security forces detain three Kosovo police officers as tensions soar • FRANCE 24 English



    Serbia said it had detained three Kosovo police officers Wednesday that had crossed the border into its territory. Kosovo, however, said the group had been kidnapped on its land and banned Serbian vehicles from crossing the border.

      Is Serbia starting another war? I wouldn't be surprised unfortunately, a conflict in Europe would be a good distraction from the efforts in Ukraine, putin would love that.

      The best solution there is to deploy the NATO forces in the perimeter border between Serbia and Kosovo, then I think the best way to preserve its territorial integrity against Serb aggressor is to put a concrete barrier in their boundary under the watch of NATO forces, so that the Kosovar won't be bullied by the Serbs. Those municipalities which are majority ethnic Serbs populace in the North should be given a chance again in a democratic or election process under the Kosovo constitution, but if they won't recognize and obey the rule of law they will be definitely dealt with harshly under the law or else what is the sense of having a constitution without teeth to enforce it.

      Fake government of non-UN member Kosovo* has been so much provocative in the last 2 years. Well deserved and congrats to Serbia. Serb majority regions shouldn't be under control of so-called Kosovo "authorities". People in North Kosovo want to keep their legal status quo and continue being a part of Serbia. Why would they have to live under Kurti's albanian nationalist rule against their will? If Kosovo Albanians have the right to become an independent state, Kosovo Serbs also have the right not to be a part of this de facto state.

      It’s kidnapping not being detained look how they cover their eyes 3 cops they dont even have vests do you guys think they would step in Serbias territory for what reason?

      At the end the report mentions demonstrations by Serbs after the appointment of ethnically Albanian mayors…. If I recall correctly, the ethnic Serbs boycotted the elections, elections that were then won by the candidates supported by ethnic Albanian voters. If what I have written is factually correct, what does the word “appointed” mean in this context?

      Kosovo e Serbia,I do not consider those that sold their original faith and converted to Islam for financial and political advantages within the Ottoman Empire as being part of Europe or European. There's no place for you in the Christian European Union,form a union with Turkey instead don't knock on the Christian Europe's doors!
