thanks for the video. I would love to learn how to ride a bike. It will be for an A licence and i have never been on a bike before so this will be very interesting and hope to be able to one day buy a tourer and travel around on it and park up the 4 wheels for a change 🙂 as for theory test, im studying for it as it is. so fingers crossed ill have the first one done by the end of september. Just did my theory test and been riding without the ibt. Riding bikes for 10 years so. Been stopped before and for insured, nobody asked for the ibt. I'll schedule the driving test soon and see if I can get away without the ibt.
I'm moving to ireland from the states. I have a motorcycle license here as well as a finnish a2 license. I'd prefer to keep my full license which I can get in may from europe. But my question is can I register and insure a bike if I use my american license? Or should I wait till may to get the big a license
Some very helpful information just wondering after getting your learner permit and passing your ibt how long do you have to get your driving test done before your learner permit expires ?
Can you get insured when you finish your ibt and are you allowed to start riding afterwards or do you have to wait 6 months before being able to start riding on the road ?
I know this video is a bit old now but when you go for the IBT is it like a 2 day course? Is there groups of lads doing it or is it one on one training or what? Do you need to buy a bike and all the gear before going to the IBT or do they provide all that stuff? Thanks.
I'm swatting up on the theory test. I'm 47 with a full car license about 25 years. I find some of the questions to be strangely ambiguous, so don't underestimate it. There are plenty of questions that are simplistic and require basic common sense, but the ambiguous ones gotten wrong, may be enough to fall short.
Great video, doing my theory test on Saturday, my motorbike licence expired in 2001, expensive mistake, I feel like a teenager (getting shafted by the high prices of everything with an ex engine) thanks for the brilliant video lad, 👍
When you booked in October how long was it before they gave you a date in March? I need to do my test next year so wondering if I book now will they give me something around next march because I don't want to be doing in during the winter.
What position we should ride when taking road test ? Can we go for test on normal clothes or it’s an requirement to wear proper motorcycle clothings with boots ? Please answer
Howya mate, really enjoying watching your videos, been binging the eurotrip all evening! I was wondering if you had some advice for my situation. I've got a KTM Duke 125, I'm 22 and am about to apply for my first permit. I'm wondering if you think I'd be better off going for the A1, then progressing to the A2, or going straight for the A2, and then doing a pretest and my actual test onna rented A2 category bike? I don't currently plan on owning a bike over the A2 category, but I know if I do the A1 license, and progress to the A2, if I wanted to get the A license, id have to do a second driving test for it. Thanks a million! And keep up the class videos!

So I have a ktm 125 2 stroke dirt bike without lights and was wondering if I put lights indicators ect onto it could I still put it road legal?

Something I learned today, having handed in my application for a learner permit, if you have a full driving licence, you don't need to do an eye test.

Question: Can I ride indefinitely on learner permit whilst obeying the restrictions (L vest, no pillion etc).?
