Here are the places we stayed and our comments.
1st Campsite was Les Andelys, Eure. in hindsight would have avoided and gone further south, all though it was handy for Monet gardens. https://www.pitchup.com/campsites/france/haute-normandie/eure/les-andelys/camping-lile-des-trois-rois/?type=3&type=6&
2nd Campsite was Pontorson and we looved this campsite. it had very good facilities, town close by for shopping and St Michaels mont a cycle ride away. https://www.pitchup.com/campsites/france/basse-normandie/manche/pontorson/camping-haliotis/
3rd stop was Sarzeau.. our first introduction into needing a supply of our own toilet roll :). Great place for families and an easy 15 mins walk to a nice beach. Facilities need an update for sure, but can’t fault the hospitality and food vans that stopped onsite.

4th Stop was Lucon and we loved it here. Quiet, clean with big pitches shaded from the sun.

5th was our 4 nights staying in airbnb in the Dordogne. WOW! This was wonderful and the perfect retreat. fully recommend for peace and quiet.

6th back in the van and making our way North now for a stay in Chateauroux. This was only for one night and it was very hot so not really a lot to comment, except we are not big fans of trying to find your own pitch and most were overgrown.

7th and final was just outside Dieppe and perfect for the tunnel (2 hours away)
