Just a quick video, as my boy got a puncture on his way home and I wanted to do a video on the Tyre Glider since I first got it. I have to say this is the best innovation since the tyre lever itself and every cyclist should have it in their cycle bag because it just works. Although it is definitely a lot harder than they show in most of the videos out there as you will see in mine, changing a tyre with a new one is much harder than just taking off the old one and putting it back on after fixing a puncture.

    1. Looks like a decent removal tool but not a great one for installation. Never had a tyre I couldn't put on a bike using the pinch and push method. Watch the David Arthur video

    2. I agree that the tire Glider is a great tool, but to be fair I think that tire could easily be removed with hands alone and no levers. If I'm fitting a new tire at home I sometimes use a little washing up liquid, makes a big difference.
Re- the cracks "cold, wet and warm weather" and riding it flat!
One other point – I did break my first (red) tire glider trying to put a very tight narrow tire back on, you have to be very careful locating the glider onto the rim before you start to push, the guys at Tire glider sent me a free replacement.
Personally I hate slime tubes since I went to go for a ride only to find the bike sat in a pool of slime all over the floor from a puncture that did not seal! I've seen it happen out on the road as well.
