One surprising thing I learned from this video is that if there is such a thing as 'justification for the Atom Bombs on Japan' (and I'm not sure if there is 'justification'), but if there is such a thing, then it's Unit 731. Perhaps it could have been worse than the perpetual current threat of global nuclear annihilation.

I worked with a guy who Im 90% sure had a grandpa who was an escaped Nazi. He was a white guy, totally European heritage and had a German accent. I assumed he was a German immigrant to the US or so (he was about mid 20's) and he told he came here from Brazil. I mentioned he looked and sounded German and he told he it was because his grandpa moved the Brazil from Germany and had his dad. Never dug on the issue but certainly made me go "hmmmm…"
