This is our ride 2 of the Volcanoes of the Auvergne motorcycle tour, going North of Clermont-Ferrand. Although we are officially leaving the Parc Naturel Regional des Volcans d’Auvergne, also this ride is full of nice riding and some pretty perfect stops for coffee in Charbonnieres les Vieilles, lunch at Rendez Vous des touristes, a view on the Barrage des Fades and Fades Viaduct: Vulcanoes of the Auvergne. We have and a last stop at Volcan de Lemptégy before ending the ride with an amazing view on Clermont-Ferrand. And the ride takes us through Les Gorges de la Sioule and the Gorge de Chouvigny in particular. The ride is 180 km / 110 miles offering you plenty of time to enjoy it all.
