    1. I don't think that Pog does the Giro. Having lost the last two editions of the TdF, he will be needing to win that one, that will be all that matters to him next year.

    2. I was hoping you did a review of stage 3 of Tour of Turkye. I was wondering how you would rank these climbers / potential. Also because Bora riders showed potential

    3. Cannot see Pogacar doing this Giro, if he still wants to do the Tour.
Even the classics season races will be in question. If he wants to stand a chance against Vingegaard, he will need a preparation at least as good as the Dane.
Pogacar doing the Vuelta would be more likely than doing this Giro.

    4. Agree with everything Benji had to say about the Stelvio (“I love the Stelvio” :D). It really is a crime against humanity to use it like this. Only thing I don’t agree is their final verdict of 7.5/10. This parcour doesn’t even pass 4.5/10 for me. So many nothing stages and nothing burger climbs.

    5. I like that there are little transfers except before the last stage. It feels like a proper tour of a country. Of course the south is mostly left out as usual, but it's difficult to find suitable roads there. Also, two proper ITT should be the norm for a Grand Tour.

    6. The livigno stage (15) would not have happened last year due to both snow and Swiss police… but last year was a year with extremely late snowfall in Italy so maybe… let's hope for it
PS. Recanati region in no such thing, Osimo is the big city (Tirreno 23, penultimate stage)

    7. The Grappa stage will be decisive… It's a properly hard climb. First 12 km is just a warm up. After that it kicks up and holds gradients above 10%… This is the same climb where Nairo and Aru took 1 min on Uran and 4 min on Cadel Evans in 2014 ITT stage.

    8. FYI Riccione is pronounced with a soft "c" like Ciao. If you use a hard "c" then it becomes another word entirely and saying that in Italy would be just like going to America and ask for a cigarette using the british slang for it😅

    9. Pogi and Jonas doing the Giro-Tour double, coming in a little weak for the Tour so they are at a similar level to Rogla, Remco etc might be the recipe for the greatest year of all time

    10. I wish the Giro was later in the year. They can't put proper mountain stages early on because of snow, so they either get left until the last week and the race is boring for the first two weeks, or they just aren't put in at all 😞

    11. Good job boys. Keen to know what’s your thought on other teams gc other than the big teams.
Bora, ag2r, fdj, lidel etc. who should go. Tao ? Ben O etc.

    12. Adam Yates "I would love to ride this Giro next year!". Tadej frowning his forehead. Gianetti: "I understand, [but you are not going, you have to work for Tadej at the Tour] but we have bigger objectives".

    13. Adding on to the (unpopular?) takes on Stage 16. What if the Passo dello Stelvio is closed, or anyway has to be removed because of inclement weather and unsafe conditions? With the Stelvio early on, the Stage can still be "meaningful", especially if they decide to add on from Santa Cristina (Passo Sella, Pordoi, Giau… there are plenty of options through Arabba and Corvara that would not overlap with Stage 17). Maybe for once they thought things through …
Also, don't underestimate the last Kms from Bolzano to Fie'/Castelrotto/Ortisei – They are not inhumane, but not trivial either.

    14. this is the kind of parcours where the riders can make the race so I’m actually pretty hyped. The Olympics are definitely the best thing that could happen to the Giro.

    15. Off season pod idea – LRCP fantasy grand tour. Rog, Pog, G, Vinegaard, Remco all on the start line. Design the parcour that makes the best racing over 3 weeks
