Zwift’s new Hub One indoor turbo trainer is like no other on the market. It can fit (almost) any bike with ease due to its single cog design. This means that road bikes, commuter bikes, TT bikes, mountain bikes and more can all be set up with minimum hassle. Manon explains all the details of this new indoor trainer, before the team at GCN Megabase try it out on their own different bikes!

What’s your indoor cycling set-up? 🏠🚴
FYI………..the gearing is 33T-44 to 55t-10
Nah, no thanks. I think it’s a step back unless you have multiple vastly different bikes. So not for me
What.. no Brompton? I’m out! Yours, disgusted of Bristol 😉
Seems like a genius concept. With 24 internal gears in the back, do you get another 24 if you shift the front derailleur? Seems to me the rear mech should accommodate that.
Hahaha nice jab at MTB riders! 😂😂❤
WOW that really went up in price! A BIG NO THANK YOU!
Ordered this today. Was wishing there was a package to upgrade my controllers!
Can it be used with a fixie? I know you've mentioned a derailler but i don't have one 🙁 .
Love it, but like the original, will it come to Australia or do we miss out again ?
Very good explainer, I think I'll be getting one of these. How come the gear number did not show up on the Zwift screen when trying the different bikes?
this is definately going to be my xmas present
The conversion for my bike to a Wahoo was a total pain in the neck with spacers. If this eliminates that it is great!
Is it weird that I'd rather be out riding in sub-freezing weather than riding inside on a trainer? It's the fact that the trainer doesn't move under me the same way that a real bike does. Can't stand it. Anyone have experience with rollers? Do they address this issue?
I can't wait to not be able to buy this in Australia 🇦🇺
Retro Conor made my day. He needs a bunch of baguettes to deliver in that basket.
nice. is it Campagnolo EKAR compatible?
It said “video will continue after ad ends” but then the video ended…
Ooh! I cod fit my Cube emtb on there & take the KOM up Alp du Zwift…
Technically you should be able to use Ekar 13speed. Cant you just adjust on the settings that its a simple 12spd 1x?
so you are LOCKED to laggy Zwift app only ?
Is it any quieter?
Sounds like a great system. Does it only work with the Zwift app?
Will this hub work on other trainers?
Yeah, you can fit any bike without any adjustment at all. Please show me how to put (with no adjustment at all) a 8-speed quick release road bike with 135 mm spacing to a trainer, which was just used with a BOOST through axle frame.
Could you just remove derailleur adjust chain length and run setup as SS?! You could even save money by switching to a 9 or speed chain correct?
Mine had problems out of the box weird noises and 10k bike sitting crooked 2 degrees to the right, returned it
OK, how about a beater frame from off of the junk pile? Add a cheap bottom bracket and fixie/1by chainset and you’ve got a Zwift setup. The headset could be seized and Click/Play steering would still work. It’s easy to hack a fork stand, so you wouldn’t even need a wheel. Well, yes, a saddle would be nice. With an iPad or Apple TV, this is good.
SRAM AXS Road uses different size
Ooooh look at that bouncy boy…… Tease
Will it work with 2×7 road bike?
It's a pity that this is a sponsored presentation, not a real review.
What about 6 gear vintage bike? Could be fit?
how do gear changes feel? how does sprinting feel? missing some important info here!
You invented ERG mode once again! Congrats.
It might be nice to use for structured workout, but definitely not for racing
Will it work with Sram's transmission?
Does it work with fixie or let’s call them track bikes?
do I have to call all my neighbors when I buy it😂😂?? to let them try their bikes
Ive added this to my original Zwift hub and love it.
Just bought this…looking forward to trying it out
Hello GCN! Hello bikers! Just got mine 2 days ago to fit with my Giant Contend Shimano 105! Question: it seems the alignment with my bigger chainring is not ideal (it seems to be a bit too much on the right compared to the cog…) and so the cog/chain makes some light noise… The chain does not seem to touch the plastic however. I do not have the issue when the chain is on the smaller chain ring where it drives perfectly. Do you know if it matters as the transmission is said to be simulated through the 24 virtual speeds and the Zwift Click whatever the bike you are using? Thanks for enlightening me as it is my very first indoor setup! 🙂
I am thinking about using this for my e-bike (with battery out obviously) and wondering if I would have any issues fitting it?
You know what you never see? A Pinarello Lungavita. The Kona made me think about that.
