Episode 1: A Very German Protest introduces viewers to the world of the middle ages, the world in which Martin Luther lived. It was a time of sweeping change and ongoing corruption. Against this backdrop, an obscure German Monk rose to become the spark that lit the Protestant Reformation.
This series gives viewers an in-depth look at the forces and people who shaped the Protestant Reformation. It describes in detail the social and theological issues at stake in the conflict between the Catholic Church and Protestant reformers during the 16th century. Produced and directed by award-winning filmmaker T N Mohan, the series highlights the lives of the three mainstream Protestant reformers—Martin Luther, Ulrich Zwingli, and John Calvin—and shows how God used them to restore a more biblical
and Christ-centered understanding of the Christian faith. Additional episodes are planned for the series.

Luther surely wanted to do the right thing because Catholic Church was so corrupt and cannot be called Church but his ideology of the Bible is wrong

THE PROTESTANT REVOLUTION WAS PUSHED BY THE MONARCHS AND NOBLITY GETTING THEIR HANDS ON CATHOLIC CHURCH PROPERTIES…THIS WAS A LAND GRAB HIDDEN BY CRAZY REFORMATION DOCTRINES…THE GREEDY RICH WERE THE REAL FORCE BEHIND PROTESTANTISM…
IT WAS SATAN WANTING CHURCH COLLECT CHURCH WEALTH…
That's a terrible thing to say no Christ and our creater Father does not look at us like Despicable beings
That's not a good way to start, since there are not 30,000 denominations. It is a very convoluted system that comes up w/ that number. Even some diligent Catholics rightly refute it. They incl. Catholic rites and Orthodox branches in that number, as well as take the same protestant denomination, but divide it according to country.
Best narration of the Luther's Reformation. Iam a staunch Luthran, because l got the true gospel from the reformers.
Shockingly there is no reformation in protestant churches today instead are joining hand with papacy
I'm going to start watching this but I have to say that it's completely false to say that the gospel was "rediscovered" it was never lost! There have always been people who had the truth.
