The undertale effect is in full swing, something gets so popular so quick that sub fandoms branch from the main fandom but because it’s so new there’s nothing holding people back from saying and doing the most outrageous stuff

Well said! Why are people so overdramatic? I don't understand the early hate on JUST the pilot episode? The official episode hasn't even been released yet and they are already creating unnecessary hate towards the show.

A lot of people dislike the “comedic light hearted colourful media with a secret dark and edgy side” trope because they think it’s trying too hard to be edgy, but honestly with most recent things, especially Digital Circus, I think they have the opposite problem. The whole purpose of the darker side is to retain some sort of investment and stakes with the audience, but with stuff made by Glitch, it’s sorta approached *too* lightheartedly and loses a lot of the tension and stakes, so there was no real point in having a darker undertone in the first place.
At first, I thought the show was for kids but then I watched the pilot two days ago thinking it was a good show. I like how sarcastic Jax is. I'm not even sure why people say Jax is 22 when Pomni is 25??? Yet Jax calls her a kid. Even though this is a show of popularity, why does everyone like Pomni so much to the point where they have to sexaulize her?
I think my only real criticism for TADC is that, at least to me, it feels like they tried a little too hard to make Caine Spamton-esque. To me it comes off as a little too closely inspired, but I do still think it can work. On another note, I think it's a little strange that people are saying Jax is coping by being an asshole. Like if you really pay attention, it's obvious Jax knows way more than he's letting on, so I think he's basically accepted the situation he's in and just doesn't care anymore

the digital circus is a animated masterpiece and must be respected. Im a huge fan of ALL of it and i cant wait for the next episode

Honestly, it's surprising it's only been a few weeks and not sooner. I thought the fandom and haters were gonna go monkey mode day one of pilot. Still love this series though and it's also my first glitch series I've watched. Can't wait for episode 2 and hope Glitch and Gooseworx don't get discouraged by those toxic internet cavemen. Me and whoever isn't an asshole also supports what they are doing.
I feel the show is literally EVERYWHERE and it gets annoying, yet the animation and plot is good. But I feel I can’t watch the start without dying of cringe.
