How fixed pull chain tensioner on mtb is working for you so far? I use spring pulled one and I like how it extends pull with chain wear, but sadly it’s not maintenance free due to inside getting dirty and possibility of spring weakening/failure over longer period of time, so I started to crave simplicity, even if I’d need to manualy change the tension.

Push the chain up if you can, it engages more teeth on the cog. Probably makes not practical difference but it’s something to try
