I recently received a new bike from Haibike. This is the Lyke and it the lightweight ebike coming in at around 17kg. It is a full carbon frame with 29″ wheels and 140mm of travel. I think this is the perfect all round bike and I am about to put it to the test at Leeds Urban Bikepark.
There is so much to offer at Leeds Bikepark. They have some easy blue trails but then they also have some red trails with big jumps, rocks and drops on them. We also went and checked out the black trails too!
We are at the start of our 3 week road trip from John O Groats to Lands End so there will be plenty more content coming soon!
I hope you enjoyed the video!
Kara 🙂

Not convinced your full power red bike would have easily cleared the jumps and given you the power for the stair set.
Is it me or has the footage quality dropped a little ?
Awesome, looking forward to following 3 weeks ✌️❤️
Great stuff Kara enjoy the road trip 👍👍👍
See you Tom & Chris Smith all got Same Haibike now That Lyke 11 29” Wheels do you Both Find 29” Wheel Bike runs Better my Alltrack 6 also 29” wheels Next Monday it getting Rockshox Pike Ultimate Charger 3 Forks & Tubeless Tyrea
Restricted Ebike Don’t Help for Jumping Long Distance see only do 16mph
Down the road from me and I don't go. It's just built bad. Don't blame you for not hitting the jumps. When people like Danny heart and Tom can't clear stuff you'd think they would get the idea.
Wow very cool video Kara and a very nice new bike is well. So looking forward to seeing you both on your 3 week road trip because I’m sure we are going to see lots of exciting mountain bike adventures
Awesome stuff are you doing Llandegla on your tour ..my little girl would love to meet you
That definitely looked like a fun area to ride Kara. Those bigger drops looked gnarly. I loved how you said sometimes it's not about the speed, it's about the skill. That was gold. Tom just landing the wall ride definitely made that look sketchy. That was massive.
This is great Kara
I have been thinking on a electric street bike.
Nice lookin NEW eBIKE
Great riding. Love the bike park. Light bike looked great and seemed to have plenty of power. Keep the videos coming!!!
My local. Wish I'd known. Enjoy the road trip guys… 👊👊
Was the suspension set for your weight? It looked like it barely moved when you were riding down the steep stuff.
Them jumps are designed in such a way that if you clear one, you'll clear the next, soon as you case, pull off and start again. The double at the top looks difficult but is super easy, you had more than enough speed. I wouldn't of rode the tables like that, it's worth just stopping when you case and going again. Leeds is built amazingly and is great for progression
I keep meaning to check out that bike park.
You should hit Gletress, and Inners on your road trip.
Hamsterley is worth a look too
You need to visit tarland trails on your road trip to Scotland, its in Aberdeenshire, opened early this year and is so good, very flowy trails with a lot of jumps, blues, reds and a black, well worth a visit!! 👍
Can't believe I chose to ride Ladybower on Tuesday instead of here, would have loved to have seen you both. I live about 9 miles from here lol
I saw the learning to wheelie video, did you master the wheelie?
