In March, my employer took me to London for the second time this year. The first time, I took a side trip to Paris. This time, I went to Malta for 2.5 days before a week of endless meetings.
I rented a bike from EcoBikesMalta – not a top of the line mountain bike like I’m used to, but it got the job done. On Friday, my first day on the island, I rode around Bugibba Bay to the point near St. Paul’s Island. It was absolutely stunning. Simply gorgeous. Riding 3 feet from cliffs that drop off a hundred feet or more is breath taking.
Given the chance, I’d love to go back to Malta/Gozo. In fact, I’d love to spend a month there… kiteboarding, mountain biking, road biking, exploring.
