The Pinarello Dogma F8, a bike that took the stage with Chris Froome and his Sky teammates at the 2014 Tour de France, has been my reliable companion for years. It replaced the Dogma 65.1, known for its rigidity issues, and brought in a new era of aerodynamic excellence. With its meticulous design, from the glossy paint finish to the clever cable routing and the thoughtful inclusion of two seat tube bottle cage positions. The slim fork legs, inspired by track cycling, cut through the air effortlessly, while the asymmetric frame claims to balance pedaling forces for increased efficiency. The Flat Back shaping in the seat tube, down-tube, and top tube, reminiscent of the Kamm Tail design, contributes to the claimed 9% weight reduction and 28% increased stiffness compared to its predecessor.
