In September I cycled the C2C – from the Irish Sea at Whitehaven to the North Sea at Tynemouth. I did the journey over 4 days, the first and last being half days of cycling. The two main days were through the Lake District from Lorton to Little Salkeld, via Keswick, and then across the Northern Pennines from Little Salkeld to Consett.

I rode a Kona Sutra bike, with two Ortleib back panniers and a Vango 2-person tent strapped to the rack. I filmed the ride on a GoPro mounted to my handlebars.

You can read about the trip and find the route on my website at https://www.jamiemchale.com/journal/c2c-cycling

    1. Hello Jamie
I loved your video of the C2C. Would you consider emailing me with the route you took? I’m considering organising the C2C run for my wife’s birthday next year. She would love to do it. I fully understand if you don’t wish to email it. Thanks
