Have you made any of these mistakes?
I like the “don’t turbo past road bikers” 😂 This is somewhat true, my ebike assists up to 45km/hr, and I hit 70km/hr without struggle, I’ve never had a road bike catch me when I’m on my ebike, and that’s in a busy city averaging 15,000 kilometres a year (daily rider). I guess it helps I ride the velodrome a couple times a week on my fixie 😅
I drank out of a lake the other week dehydrated 😂😂 i was so sick 😢 take plenty of water !!
For one moment li thought he was going to say remember to record on the ebike section of Strava.
Surely, in this day and age, we're not worrying about leaving a smart charger and battery plugged in. Nowadays, I'd struggle to find even the cheapest charger that wasn't a "smart charger"
Another thing you shouldn't do that I did the other day. Get into a fight with a dump truck. (I lost)
I wish I saw this years ago. I did mistake 1 (cleaning upside down) 2 weeks ago and my bike has completely died. The ECU brain has died, so had the torque sensor and computer😂
You do NOT need to replace your cassette with every chain change! You are promotingwasteful behavior!
Brilliant video
that timer is not gonna help for "days" its just gonna turn on the next day
I bought my first e-bike recently. The maintenance guy in the shop was telling me today that I should be using it in the lowest mode at pretty much all times.
I was just wondering is this good advice or can someone elaborate on why it should be in the lowest mode
Going for a bike ride in the park sounds more like mission impossible +
I would say the high gear cogs that are easy to replace are the ones you need to focus on; they wear the most on any bike. I only use the other gears for hills.. high quality chains last a lot longer; name brands. Storage and charging firebags are $20 and probably worth it; remove the battery to charge in the bag; or bring the battery in the house to keep out of the cold or heat.
And in winter you dont want to charge that battery while its still cold 😊
I WILL NEVER SWITCH TURBO OFF
I have a Garmin inReach attached to my backpack along with my Garmin watch tracking my ride
Therefore if I get hurt, my watch will detect a fall then have my inReach call for emergency services
The timer trick is BRILLIANT!
Thank you for your advices. I always put on „where is“ on my Iphone. So, my wife can follow the ride. I am almost everytime alone on my rides.
Just so E Bikers stay off paths and trails marked "no motorized vehicles".
I speak USA english. what's a roadie?
Great tip on charge timer.
