The Mosel river in Germany is a popular destination for touring cyclists. The river winds through a beautiful wine district with many picturesque villages. It is an extremely easy route to cycle with plenty campsites, hotels, cafes and restaurants.
In 2019 we cycle toured here for 3 days. We took it slow and easy due to the fact that it was the hottest days ever recorded in Germany.

Brilliant video with great shots! This location is soooo beautyful❤️
This is a cycle trip that I'd like to do. We stayed on the Moselle at Erden between Bernkastel and Traben Trarbach between the 24 July and 7 August and it was incredibly hot. I'm sure one of those days must have been on your hottest day. We had already done a trip from Donaueschingen in the black forest to Torbole at lake Garda and we had temperatures into the high 30's! in Italy! Great video.
Just found your channel, it’s great! Can’t understand why you don’t have more subscribers. Adding some reviews might help if you want to grow the channel, they seem to work for me. Thanks for sharing.
Hats off to you! I live along the Mosel, and those hot days, I didn't even venture outside!
Where did you stay at night?
What is this route then ?
Cochem is beautiful. Did you make it up to the Castle? They have some really beautiful Christmas markets too.
I’ve watched this video for the third time, thank you very much for sharing, the Mosel river is certainly a beautiful place, I’ve been there twice, hopefully I’ll get back there again later this year. Happy cycling. Johnny
