Never heard of it, but whatever gets you out riding is a win in my books. I love the colour scheme. Geometry looks nice. As long as it’s not too heavy, your other components can be upgraded over time.
Congrats on the new bike!

I’ve got a golden cycle, not the same model but it’s a pretty solid first fixie and I’ve switched out most of the parts for it

Seems to be pretty similar to the 6ku urban track. My buddy rides one and absolutely loves it. Should be much lighter than most of the hi tensile steel bikes around the same price range. Best starting upgrades are gonna be the standard stuff like tires, pedals, saddle etc. An alu bike with alu fork will be pretty stiff which a lot of people like but it might get buzzy depending on the road quality. If you find that’s an issue for you when riding, looking into wider diameter tires might help or even a carbon fork if you find a good deal on one.
Love the color way too. Stands out but not gawdy.

Definitely a solid track frame. I’ve owned mine, (grey/white) for the better part of 2 plus years now. Upgraded everything. Riding Fixed gear with H Plus Son Archetypes, with Gatorskins. No issues with the frame of any kind, the geometry on the head tube is dope, threw on wolf tooth components (zero stack and an external cup), along with the seat clamp as well. Enjoy it, keep the rubber side down.
