Join me on this unexpected journey as I ride Paris Brest Paris (PBP) in France. The oldest cycling event still in existence today, and the pinnacle of the audax and randonneuring. A bucket list ultra-distance cycling event of 1200 km.

As PBP has many faces and ways to enjoy it, I included in this video not only my footage and experience but also videos from other randonneurs who participated in Paris-Brest-Paris 2023.

Huge thank to everyone who shared their videos and experiences, you are amazing! Check out their Youtube channels for insights into PBP.

    1. Sherry, great video that brings the vibe of PBP in the living rooms. Thanks for including us Randonneurs in you video. It was a pleasure 👌

    2. Incredibly impressive time considering you decided not to race. Really don't know how you managed to go so far without sleep – guess that's maybe an ultra thing.

      Anyway, congratulations and nice video

    3. Congratulations! I knew you are strong but 54h!?! It was so exciting to follow you with the app. To think I was proud of my 67h in 2011…, 😉
I am a lady a little older than you and did PPB with no support like you but with no drafting (it was my choice to ride alone since I did PBP with my club members in 2007). But 54h, it is an another world…
As a French woman, I am really happy that you lived a great experience in my country and with French people.

    4. Great summary of how PBP was for you Sherry, thanks a lot for sharing.

It was my first PBP, but there I was told that we are supposed to ride it three times… First one to "see how it is", second one to race it, third one to arrive at the limit time… See you there maybe in 4 years?

    5. What a ride ! I was wondering if you actually participated or not since the video didn't come until recently. I loved having the insights of other participants too.
PS: Your "bonne soirée" sounded almost native !

    6. were your aerobars a big benefit to hiding from the wind on these ultra distance rides? I find I can't sustain the aerobar positions anything longer than 4 hrs of ridding

Beautiful documentary i hope to be PBP ready next season!
