The most important cycling day of my life, finishing on 8th place, I forgot to turn the gopro on!!! Oh well, here are the clips I do have, proving I actually cycled 300 km from Flensburg, germany to Viborg, Denmark.

On the sideline, driving, watching and organizing was my girlfriend, Bente and her danish cousin, Lisbet. They saw me, I didn’t see them, to their amusement 🙂

The race itself was amazing. Who ever said Denmark is a flat country without any hills or climbs, has not been on a bike from the south and up. My legs were exhausted from the climbs, and I was regretting everything about being there, at times. But then, wow what an experience!

And I made it. It made it good. I was hoping to make it within the first 50 over the finish line, and I did. I had the 8th best overall time on the 300 km distance!

I have to say I am proud of myself. Not only did I have the accident during Tour of Flanders in April, I have also been working nights offshore for the last 2 months, only being able to cycle outside on my bike in between rotations!

I am ready for more adventures, and will for sure remember the GoPro!
