    1. NUMBER ONE TIP! Iinvestigate the price of replacement batteries BEFORE you buy. You will need to determine if you have buy a brand new battery unit or if the BMS supports replacing the battery cells.

    2. False, you said ebikes will only power you when you are pedaling. MOST models have a throttle for complete power with no pedaling. You may have a great review with no more misinformation, but how would I know the very first thing you said was wrong if I didnt already know a little about ebikes?

    3. One thing you have to consider is whether the motor is in the back hub, or in the front. If it is in the front, you will have an AWD bike. This helped me to get through mud puddles, through which I could not get through otherwise on my hybrid.

    4. so the question is…. how much does the replacement engine and battery cost when it dies?

Similar to electric cars, id like to know if electric bikes are disposable once the batteries die as the replacement battery is too cost prohibited.

    5. Electric bikes offer numerous advantages for daily use, such as eco-friendliness, health benefits, cost-effectiveness, improved commuting experience, and accessibility for different fitness levels. However, potential drawbacks like initial costs, battery life and charging concerns, and weight and portability issues should be taken into consideration. Ultimately, the suitability of an e-bike for daily use depends on individual needs, preferences, and circumstances. By carefully assessing your requirements and choosing the right e-bike, you can enjoy a more sustainable, healthy, and efficient mode of transportation that aligns with your lifestyle. – Tycoonstory Media

    6. Great video and very helpful ! I've just bagged a GoGo Best GM28 7-speed 350w and I love it.. fitted it basket wise with front, back and panniers so the step through frame really makes mounting the fully laden bike really easy !!

    7. Battery’s can be a mare. Cogs a chains need to be changed a lot . But yes I love my eBike . Had error cod 620 something with the battery. Some one said send it to Bosch But it very heavy. Any one in the northwest that does Servicing of batteries ? Help

    8. U Missed off:

Mid drive motor v Hub motor
Derailleur v Internal gear hub (step less v stepped gear shifter/automatic)
      Battery power recommendation
      Security for e-bikes
      Safety on roads.

And a spare Bosch battery will cost around £400-800

Edit: this video still inspired me to get my first e-bike. But goodness there are so many things to consider when buying one. That is even before ensuring bike is securely locked and insured. And then there is cycling on roads and vehicles passing too close. But heck it is so enjoyable to ride.

It should be pointed out that the thief could still ride away on the bike without motor assistance even if display unit removed. So need much more security.

    9. The federal Low Speed Electric Bicycle definition actually does not specify a top assist speed but few understand how the assist is limited. It limits power above 20mph to what would sustain 20mph such that any speed achieved above 20mph is via rider power. This is far superior to a "cut-off" as is the current ubiquitous method. There is a very good reason why the specification was defined like this – the guy writing it was a PhD electrical engineer and the NHTSA was not going to release the regulatory purview of ebikes to the CPSC to regulate same as bikes if they power would provide speeds over 20mph (this is actually the case on the other electric mobility devices regulated by the CPSC) so it made sense that what would sustain a 170 lb rider on a level surface at 20mph could continue past 20mph (this is approx. 350W. Interesting this results in the performance that most consider a speed pedelec in Europe and a Class 3 ebike in the US.

    10. Man, that's one hell of a premium e-bike you got.

Over here, I can't even find bosch bikes for sale, much less afford one. And all of them come with the throttle, of course.

    11. Don't forget that battery performance is temperature-dependent. A given battery charge in colder weather will not give the same range as the same charge level in warmer weather. Also keep in mind that climbing hills uses a LOT of battery power and a battery will not last as long over a hilly course as the same distance over a flat route.

    12. your very first statement in the video is incorrect so i stopped watching after it "an e-bike will only power your bike when your pedaling" , maybe the one you bought but not a ton of them on the market

    13. I'm gonna buy an ebike for my ego. It hurts my pride when 50 yr old Grannies and Grandpas are just passing through me here in Germany. And when I look at them they look happy and enjoying while I'm sweating as sht.

    14. Didnt really tell you any meaningful info such as cost of replacement/ spare battery cost of wearing items like chain and cassette compared to non emtb, need to insure due to cost , recommended locks to stop theft , bosch motor compared to yamaha or shimano, just my thoughts sorry.

    15. You've really got to learn how to indicate! – Just feebly pointing a finger out like this, is basically invisible on the roads.

    16. I find e-bikes are faster and easier on hills or into a headwind but harder and slower on level ground. However, they make long distance commuting over a hilly route much more pleasant and less off putting. I commute 65 miles a day over a pretty hilly route using both hybrid bicycles and e-bikes. The e-bike knocks about an hour off the daily commute! The time is gained on the hills.

    17. Oh wow, I just came across this video on outdoor cycling and I'm already impressed! The content is so informative and engaging. As an ebike user, I am always on the lookout for new and innovative products, and that's why I am thrilled to have stumbled upon the new crowdfunding project by freebeat called the freebeat Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike. This e-bike seems to have some outstanding features, such as the ability to be charged in indoor mode. That's revolutionary! I can't wait to learn more about its 750W motor, top speed of 20mph, and the Smart Saddle Detection+ feature for achieving fitness goals effortlessly. Kudos to freebeat for pushing the boundaries of cycling!

    18. I wish I had known that the derailleurs, chains, and cassettes that were designed for humans, not powerful motors are completely inadequate for the job.
Internal gearing and belt drives are the future.
That and fat tires are shitting and just a marketing tool.

    19. There are actually some e-bikes that you do not have to pedal and have a throttle. I stopped watching it because you didn't even address this point.

    20. Just bought a used Gitane e-bike yesterday and took my first ride this morning. Yes it is fun but takes some getting used to because of no toe clips and upright handlebars. The boost is fun and evens out my cadence. Did not have even one GERD atttack (gastro esophageal reflux disorder), which I have had for years. I am 73.
