    1. So very happy you enjoyed my beautiful Croatia 🇭🇷 🙏🏻 (I live in Canada, both parents Croatian), we have a place near Zagreb and plan to retire in Hrvatska. Puno Hvala, thanks again, for highlighting a small country with big hearts ❤️

    3. 6:47 Is a painting of Nikola Subic Zrinksi's Last stand at Sziget. when 2,000 Croatian soldiers (some hungarians) killed alot 50,000 to 100,000 ottomans. Not Dubrovnik, but still a great croatian story. Zrinksi was killed during the battle.

    4. – serbs hold the biggest genocide in entire balkan to albanian, bosnian and croatians in the 90s and ww2
      – serbs had also a concentration camp for children in ww2 (rakovica manastir near belgrade)
but noone cares since noone wants to visit serbia because of non-existing culture and history (everything build by turks)

    5. So excited to be going back to Croatia this May! I was in Split in 2016 with a friend, and this time I'm getting to go back with my husband 🙂 we are doing Split and then to Dubrovnik. Trying to figure out if we should take the ferry (around $200 roundtrip, because we have to get back to Split to fly home) or if we should rent a car. What were your pros and cons of driving in Croatia? I feel like the car might be a few bucks cheaper and would give us the freedom to stop and check out other areas for day trips and what not… but then again, you're stuck with a car. Any tips?

    6. Game of Thrones Castles and comparation in first line is sooo superficial to say that about Croatia, who is with her history and tradition more as stupid fiction.

    7. Is an international driver’s license the same thing as an international driving permit? I can’t seem to find where to obtain a license, just a permit.

    8. I lived in Split , Trogir and Otok Obonjan when me and my family left Bosnia during the war in 1992 and I currently live in the United States and I'm actually moving back to Croatia soon . I look forward to it so much. It's the greatest place in the world. My girlfriend who's American is coming with me and she's got no clue that she's going to live in paradise.

    9. Oh my. Dubrovnik was never under otomans or others. Only Napoleon was guilty one that Republic was shutted down.

    10. 8:00 no way I literally went here same night as you and Dolcevitta just before! I live in the Uk but im Croatian and visit every year to Dubrovnik glad you enjoyed your trip

    11. I am travelling in Croatia right now. I was here 20 years ago and it was a beautiful place. Now it is the most expensive place in the Mediterranean. Scams are everywhere including having you car towed if you have foreign plates. The cities are much dirtier and have become party towns for drunk youths. The sea around the main towns and islands is no longer clean. There are much cheaper and nicer Mediterranean destinations now. These videos are designed for views and are not reality.
