Embark on a deeply personal and transformative journey as I share how bikepacking played a pivotal role in saving my life. In this heartfelt video, I humbly invite you to witness the power of taking that challenging first step towards change.

Within the solitude of long-distance cycling, I found a connection to my emotional world again, which I believed to be lost. The overwhelming joy of reaching the top of a challenging climb or the unexpected tears that flowed freely became poignant reminders of the vitality I had lost during years of depression.

Bikepacking became my lifeline, an opportunity to embrace the weather, diverse cultures, and the transformative power of self-discovery. This video goes beyond a personal narrative; it seeks to foster a much-needed dialogue about mental health. I deeply believe that by openly discussing our struggles and triumphs, we can collectively combat the stigma surrounding these challenges and inspire others to embark on their own healing journeys.

Through sharing my story, I hope to encourage viewers to find solace in the unknown, take that difficult first step, and experience the profound transformation that awaits them. Together, let us continue to create a safe space for open conversations and support one another on our paths to personal healing and fulfillment.

  1. Thank you all so much for you amazing feedback ❤ Just wanted to let you know, that I am hitting the road again and won't find the time to react to each and every amazing comment of yours. However, I always read them, so feel free to continue commenting. Thank you so much everyone. 🙏

  2. Thank you for your video. I really enjoyed it and learning about both your journeys. I too suffer from time to time. It’s great to see tackling it and sharing your thoughts, it helps us all. Take care buddy.

  3. I am also a biker, and a divorced man. Friends don't seem to (want) understand what I am going through …so I travel …as much as I can, the one thing that makes me feel something. When the divorce thing happened, I did not even had a drivers license, but I had to commute between my parents house and my house a few times a week. Biking helped me to focus on what matters. I was pushing myself physically but in those moments I could think clearly. This video was so inspiring, continue to do what you do. Such a humble guy.

  4. Your bike journey is awesome and highly motivating for the people who are intimidated from being judged by the others. Hats off to you sir. 🙏

  5. Thank you so much for posting your beautiful video. Your video inspires me! I hope you are good! You are a very beautiful person! You encourage me to do the same: my first long trip with my bicycle. Thank you! I’m Brazilian. Hope you have a good weekend! Hug, Domingos Sávio

  7. 2:28 Private parking is a business. Did you offer to pay the cost for your bike. Usually when you have 10 Euros in your hand at the same time… he will accept it because he will not declare it to his boss… he will just see it as a tip…

  8. It comes and goes in waves during travel. The waves slowly get shallower but last longer. Eventually you are ready to try something different. It’s a great self education
