I was surprised by the condition that Malta is in. I am curious as to if it is a place where people vacation or just a convenient stop (and new country to check off your travel wish list) for people journeying through the Mediterranean. My impression was that it’s a very gritty and the people seemed to work very hard for very little. At least that is what I was exposed to.
I rode nearly 20 miles on a bike and saw what I saw for a very long time.
Nevertheless, I was very happy to visit, and the people I met were very lovely to me (a foreign visitor). Additionally, the journey that day was my favorite thus far.
I also really enjoyed the group I traveled with as well.
And it was my very first chance to dip in the Mediterranean Sea.
