We had such a brilliant day in the Peak District following a classic loop that many mountain bikers will know and love.

Starting in Castleton, we rode up Mam Tor and headed over towards Hayfield before turning back on ourselves to descent the famous ‘Jacobs Ladder’ into Edale.

This route is filled with amazing descents and really rewarding views.

Castleton has a number of cafes for a post ride brew too.

    Hope you enjoy!

I am riding a Canyon Spectral, Jon is on a YT Jeffsy, filmed with a GoPro Hero 5 on a Feiyutech Gimal.

    1. Oh mate that was so nice to watch! Used to ride that (but in the opposite direction for some reason) in the late 80s, but not quite as fast as you 🙂 👍

    2. Did this exact ride today on the strength of this video. Absolutely brilliant, amazing decents but the climbs are pretty horrible!

    3. Great video, I'm just planning my first few peak mtb rides now, we're you able to stay on bridleways the whole time or are people happy to ride on footpaths? I'm just trying to figure out where I can and can't go!
