My dude – superglue that cut. That was what superglue was invented for originally, and I’ve used it a load of times when you’re somewhere a bit remote. Works really, really well. Also, that room key light thing? Doesn’t have to be the room key. It can be any card-sized bit of plastic.

Thanks for the info on the bike bag. I bought one a year ago and ended up never using it. Since the cost of flying with it was so expensive I needed a trip that I was going to be riding for more than three days to make financial sense over renting. Now with airlines dropping prices I'm excited to put it to use. I do need to buy that internal frame though. I remember you saying it was worth the extra money.
