    1. People / spectators at the side of the road who cause crashes in big races like these should get a prison sentence of NOT under 2 years. Imagine you have worked your azzzz off for being extremely fit and potetially being in the group of possible winners in a race like this, and then a F-taaaaard at the side of the road destroys your dream in 2 seconds.

    2. So if there are no consequences to "accidentally" smash a rider off his bike, we have to think about that a team could hire some people to stop their competitor. Why is this problem still not fixed?

    3. Great that the race started so early, but the final was disappointing. Also a lot of bad luck with favorites, so there was a long wait and chase and the race came to a standstill for a while. Rather watch a real battle between the toppers than chases due to bad luck. When van Aert and Mohoric returned, the final could finally start again, but when van Baarle attacked the tension was gone. Van Baarle was strong, but van Aert was the strongest. A rider like Devriendt, Mohoric or Pichon would also have been a deserved winner to make this edition really great.

I liked the rain edition better. Racing and suspense from start to finish. I will always remember the final of 2016 too, how Hayman beat Tom Boonen in an impossible way.

    4. Imagine being a pro and your bike fails. Like how is it even possible? My relatively cheap trek alr6 on ultegras had literaly 0 mechanical problems last 2 years and i do everything by myself. Do their teams can even handle the bikes before race? WTF…

    5. Organizers really need to clamp down on spectators getting on the course and in the way of riders. I'm getting tired of seeing riders going down due to some dumba$$ spectator!

    6. Fans who crash riders need to be banned. It won't stop it overall, but the offenders won't repeat – even if they break the ban.
