A new kind of video for me today 🙂 I strapped my new GoPro Hero10 on my new bicycle and cruised through the city to the beach in Malaga, Spain (Playa Malagueta, Playa Caleta, and Playa Los Baños del Carmen). I narrated the trip to give you info about the city, the bike lanes, and the beaches, and I even include some little updates on what’s been going on in my life. Come along with me! This is a long one so if you watch all the way to the end, thank you so much! Leave a comment and let me know if you’ve enjoyed this style of video.

    1. Great video! We moved to Malaga 3 months ago, in Teatinos. We are enjoying your video, because we love to ride our bikes, but so far just in Teatinos, and from Teatinos to the beach. You showed the interesting bike route in your video. Thanks 😊

    2. I watched it all! but in sections, stopping a few times along the way. Makes me long to be there. Malaga es tan bella 💜 And you've given me another idea: buy a bike! We thought about scooters but I think you need a driver's license for those right? and I'm not sure we're going to pursue getting driver's licenses. A ver…..Thanks for the scenic ride!!

    3. Good job speaking and filming. Your GoPro must be the better model. I used one in Denmark and it registered all the bumps of the road – it was nauseating to watch! Your video, in contrast, is smooth and easy to watch, which I did for 18 minutes! Will watch the rest later.

    4. It is really beautiful there! I love Spain and hopefully soon I will be able to live there. It was enough for me a few winters in Canada 😁 Now I want summer all the time 🙂

    5. What a nice relaxing watch without having to do any of the hard work myself! Been thinking about getting this Go Pro – looks great. And yeah, they need to do something about the Alameda nightmare – buses, pedestrians, bike lanes, estanco queues..it is impossible to not be in someones way there.

    6. I watched the whole video 😊 and really enjoyed it. Not only to see the area, and to feel even more excited about the idea of moving here. But to get a better idea of distance. What ti me on a map looks pretty far, I could now see is actually really close. Side note, I live in California and am totally guilty of having walked the bike paths on the beach and will now make a note to stop doing that 😁

    7. Thank you very much for the lovely, informative tour 😊 I was in Malaga last week, for only 3 full days, so I didn't get as far as you did on your bike 😎 Also, I didn't figure out the bicycle/pedestrian system at all, so I may have been a pain in the butt without knowing. But I do now, thanks to you 😊 Obviously, there are so many things and places to explore there, so I would really appreciate if you could make more of these tours. Kindest regards from Erik, Denmark

    8. Nice video glad you are back! we are coming to Malaga for the month of October staying in the centre beside the cathedral . You should make video going towards Torremolilos .

    9. I love how you show so much of how the area looks and how descriptive you are. Thank you! Subscribed and am looking forward to watching more of your videos 😎

    10. Just having an opportunity to watch this video now but LOVING every minute! Great job, Melissa! What an awesome viewpoint of this beautiful city. And your narration is so captivating. I am watching it during my lunch break but will finish the rest, later!!

    11. Hi, Melissa! I loved this video. My wife and I plan to move to Málaga at some point (one of us more reluctantly than the other, AND we plan to make videos about it!), and I love watching videos about the city. I've spent a good amount of time in the city over the years, but I've never biked there, as my friends who live there aren't big bikers, so it was great to see what's available as far as bike paths.

What's bike-storage safety like? Would you feel comfortable leaving your bike locked up out of sight for an extended period or no? Haha, and as I was writing this, I got to the portion of the video where you talked about taking your seat with you. Keep us updated on any bike drama! Cheers!

    12. Oh, fun fact about infomedusa – I tried getting it on my phone because when I was there in August, we used it DAILY before heading to the beach. We'll be there in June 2023 for my sister's wedding and also a family trip, so we wanted to prep by having the app or at least mentioning it to wedding guests, but it wasn't available to us. I don't know if this is because we tried adding it from the States or if it's because we don't have Spanish phone plans. I guess when we try in June, we can let you know!

    13. Melissa, you have done a great job with this video, first rate. I visited Malaga in March 2018 and like to periodically remind myself of the city.

      Many thanks, Derek

    14. Thanks for the tour Melissa! It gives us a good idea of the city riding. We are probably coming to Malaga in May to do some biking (up into the mountains ect..). We are from Quebec City 😉 Take care!

    15. very helpful video! we are travelling to Malaga in a couple of weeks and will defo hire bikes to go on a ride. Are there many places to lock your bikes outside shops/restaurants?

    16. Dear Melissa: wonderful video! I went with my wife to La Bicicleta, talked to the two lovely Italians and ordered two bikes. One like yours. We will be here till May 27 2023. Hope to see you on the trails in Malaga. All the best.

    17. Thanks for this lovely entertaining, relaxing and informative video Melissa. I'm moving to Malaga this summer and love seeing different parts of the city on video and it's great to know there are such good bicycle lanes throughout the city.Keep up the great work and yes, would love more videos like this one.

    18. Hi Melissa…
I'm loving your style and videos! Looking to possibly move to Malaga near the end of the year. Thanks for the informative videos…MMMMalaga

    19. I love your videos ! Very informative and entertaining! I am actually planning on visiting Malaga and Seville this summer for the first time. Do you have any recomandations for a first time canadian traveller going to these areas?

    20. Such a lovely and relaxing video. I was fortunate enough to live in Malaga for one year and this brought back so many beautiful memories. Thank you so much😎
