Since Russiaโ€™s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, tens of thousands of Ukrainians have volunteered to fight for their country. The volunteers are trained in basic military skills by NATO Allies and partners across Europe.

In the United Kingdom, groups of Ukrainian volunteers are undergoing a five-week course focusing on small arms, medical and urban combat training among other fundamental military skills. The training aims to provide them with basic skills and principles to survive and fight in their respective units. The courses are United Kingdom-led with instructors from NATO Allies, including Canada, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Norway, as well as NATO invitee Sweden, and partner countries Australia and New Zealand. The programme is part of the UKโ€™s commitment to help Ukraine uphold its right to self-defence against Russiaโ€™s unprovoked war of aggression.

In this video, we follow a group of brave Ukrainian volunteers going through one of these courses and learning new skills as they prepare to face again the hardships of the battlefield, ready to defend their country.

    4. Some people really think that the EU gives them so much to defend this. Well I am happy that those people exist, because I wouldn't do it. Not much left after dwelling, gaz, oil and everything else prizes. The EU didn't understand since the end of the 90s that everything is about money.

    5. @NATO A genuine question to the moderators of this channel. Maybe you have more influence or a better understanding. For almost a year I have been anti-trolling Russian YT accounts, also consistently reporting them. I am sure the majority use random scattered I.P bases which should over a 24hr period make them easily distinguished from genuine accounts. Consistently YT has failed to act on these "BOT" Troll accounts. Do you have any explaination as to why>?

    9. It's Ironic many of these Men are coming over to Nato countries with already more real world combat experience than their trainers. It's just refinement, SOP and doctrine and training on western donated equipment
