Hello cycling lovers!
This video is about my first cycling adventure in 2023. I discovered this awesome place in 2022 and many of my rides during that year included the segment with rocky cliff of Ichel river. The landscapes created along the Ichel river are impressive, you get to see a combination of small villages that grew up between stone pits, artificial lakes and tree lines of different species including my favorite pines. Foreign tourists are being attracted in this region by Cricova winery, which has the second largest wine cellars in Moldova, the labyrinthine roadways of up to 120 km were built as result of extracting of limestone.
This ride was about climbing over the cliffs for to admire the views that open from the top.
It was a challenging climb, due to the wet ground on some segments of the paths, my wheels got blocked with dirt so I had to do some hike-a-bike. Louis Litt, from my favorite episodes of Suits, is a gourmand in mud covering. I discovered my necessity to cover the bike with as much dirt as possible at the begging of the year. It’s a kind of spiritual for having a great cycling year. Just sharing my experience about cycling 🙂
