Another great sprint fight. Former lead out Charlotte Kool of DSM smoked her old teammate for the 3rd time this year. I'm always amazed when Lorena Wiebes from SD Worx gets waxed in a sprint. Just like yesterday against former world champion Elisa Balsamo from Lidl Trek. These three speed merchants are easily the fastest in the world, and although Wiebes is the undisputed sprint queen, on their day these riders can all beat each other. Good sprint racing.
I rate Marianne Vos of Jumbo Visma , Chiara Conssoni of UAE, and Lotte Kopecky of SD Worx as the next fastest.
Balsamo, Conssoni, and Kool all have lower gear smooth sprinting styles. Kopecky, Vos, and Wiebes, all sprint in a higher gear frantic fashion.
