The Vršič Pass is a high mountain pass across the Julian Alps in northwestern Slovenia, with an elevation of 1,611 metres. It is the highest pass in Slovenia, as well as the highest in the Eastern Julian Alps. We started in the stunning Soča Valley, cycling along the beautiful rivers and valleys, and headed over towards Kranjska Gora, before finishing our day in Austria!
It was my first alpine pass, and a beautiful one to start with, with numbered switchbacks (there’s 24 to the top!). Although, to whoever decided to cobble to corner of the switchbacks on the way down – bad idea!
Up next – cycling the Swiss Alps

Have you thought about adjusting the reach of your brake levers to see if it makes it easier for the long down hills. loving the tour, scenery is amazing.
Hi love the vlogs, keep them coming. Can I ask, are you still in love with the Genesis Ter De Fer 20? has it lived up to expectations ? are you planning more tours?
Nice vid guys. Nothing like a good hill to get the blood pumping 👍
It's (almost) never too early for a beer. Love your videos. Am amused the only time I can remember hearing your partner speak was in Spanish in someone else's video. Thanks for sharing your trips.
💙 lovely climb
It's a tough climb. I did it in September and there was snow at the top.

Wow, super cool video. Glad I found your channel, just subbed.
Thanks for the video. How long did it take you?
