Episode 5 – Arctic – Cycling The Atlantic Coast – Norway

Day 6 and 7: The Norwegian Coastal Express has taken me 750km north to the small town of Brønnøysund. It is here where the journey to the Arctic begins, but not before a short visit to one of Norway’s most iconic mountains. Torghatten has a hole through it that formed over millions of years from erosion. You can literally walk all the way through it! Join me as I show you the jewels of the Helgeland coast as we head to the Arctic Circle.

*Mistake in video: Torghatten is 15km from Brønnøysund (30km round trip).

About the Series: In early May 2023, I set off to document Norway’s most famous long-distance route. The Atlantic coast, which is part of the Eurovelo 1, is perhaps the most spectacular coastline in the world. This 6 episode series will take you beyond what you may have seen on YouTube before. We pull out all the stops to capture this unique area in all its wonder and beauty.

  1. Marvelous! How do you manage to visit a spot like Torghatten without any other people? At 5 o clock in the morning 😂? Would like to go on this trip right away but have to wait until next year…. Thanks for those videos of yours!
