Welcome to my channel and thanks for watching this video.

Today’s video is a ride starting on Bury Old Road in Bolton and heading south to Kersal Wetlands in Salford, then up through Radcliffe and Bury for a bit of exploring before returning to the start point via Ainsworth Village. The ride is mostly trails along the Manchester, Bolton & Bury Canal, and old railway routes between Manchester, Radcliffe, Bury and Bolton that are now cycleways and bridleways. The route passes through Leverhulme Park, Moses Gate Country Park, Clifton Park, Philips Park, Kersal Wetlands, the Outwood Trail and the linear parks that follow the old Manchester to Bury railway line, with regular encounters with the River Irwell.

The video was shot on a DJI OSMO Action 5 Pro as a 4K 2x Hyperlapse and I’m using the footage to teach myself how to use DaVinci Resolve 19. Constructive comments and feedback always welcome!

Thanks for watching the video, hope you enjoy it 🙂

  1. Lots of chunks of my commute from North Bolton to Broughton there – nice to see it from a different point of view! Feel so lucky to have all this on our doorstep and especially being able to ride it to work whilst seeing all the suckers stuck on the motorway! Thanks for sharing!
