Stick a large screwdriver in there, clamp it with locking pliers for leverage and turn, you should get it to open.
If not, I wouldn’t give up on the drilling. [Here’s how the lock looks like.](https://www.greenbikekit.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/1600×1600/479649e6c03dcd59faec450910bfd42e/e/b/ebike-frame-downtube-battery-key-lock-da-1-casing.jpg)
And if drilling really doesn’t work, you can cut the mount plate near the location of the lock’s pin to be able to separate the battery from the bike, then remove the screws on the bottom of the battery, open it (be careful not to short anything, âš¡high voltageâš¡, try not using any metal tools) and remove the lock form the inside. You’ll need to replace the mount plate and lock, obviously. Your battery case seems to be a Polly so replacements are easy to find on that ecommerce site that sounds like “coffee press” but Reddit dislikes for some reason. You’ll be out around $30.
Honestly it would’ve probably been a lot easier to lockpick it, these are very basic wafer locks you can defeat with a paperclip and a few swears. I do realize this advice is completely unhelpful at this point, just pointing it out in case it happens again.
Edit: Almost forgot… Since you asked for hurtful comments: I appreciate you and know you can accomplish great things 🫂
If you didn’t drill it you might of been able to lock pick it.
Lock picking is really easy btw, but to late now. Commit to the drilling or take of safety bolts off the battery?
