I walked along there myself this morning ! Must have only just missed you. I was looking forward to a walk over the bridge without the traffic but nope 😕 I couldn't work out what they were doing either !

Nothing much going on, just look at the squatters in the high-vis,definitely nothing going on. Double time on Sunday? Great work if you can get it. No wonder these projects cost a fortune. And the vehicles! My dad used to joke the during his time in Normandy (WW2) every yank used to have a vehicle. I will be telling my grandchildren a similar story about EW Crossrail and HS2.

I am retired but think at the age of 73 and think that sitting on a chair for 12 hours getting paid £20 per hour would suit me
