  1. The word “conflict” used in the video signals author’s lack of understanding that it’s a full blown war. Why use the language that presents war as something insignificant, like some kind of nagging discomfort?

  2. An inflation rate of 8% shouldn’t need a central bank base rate of 21% to get inflation under control. There is more going on here, most probably a food and manufactured goods inflation rate far higher than 8% but offset by a crashing housing market. The entire economy is being distorted by the war and the diversion of state resources into weapons manufacture.

  3. A peace plan will only benefit Ukraine, as Ukraine will use Russian assets transferred from Europe to rebuilt and create a strong economy where its citizens can return to live. Russia’s economy will be gone with an unemployed army, high inflation and high interest rate. Most likely civil wars between factions etc. People in Ukraine lost territories will be rejoining back to Ukraine due to poverty. Like the history of east and west Germany. 😊

  4. This guy, Peter Zeihan has lost all credibility and cannot be believed about any of this. I think for at least a year he has predicted the end of russia, china, and maybe more countries, and usually says 1 to 2 weeks, he has been absolutely wrong every one of the many times he has made his claims. Who knows if he continues to guess and make predictions often enough he may actually get one to come true. I unsubscribed and have given him thumbs down on every video I can remember him being on.

  5. This Peter guy assures us of his intellectual military strategical superiority with each video he graces us with. He can't pass a mirror without pausing to admire himself. He's the NOT-tradamus.

  6. Just remember, before the bolshevik revolution ukraine was much larger. Fact is, if ukraine took back its original lands, it would be much further north taking in Belford and much farther east taking in rostov on don and the east black sea shoreline.

Then there is the loss of the Finnish karelia lands, but that is another story.

Russian expansionist workes on a system of:
    Ethnocide.
    Genocide
    Russification
    Assimilation

It uses the exacrly the same model as mongal Gengis Khan. Russia is the Borg. "Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated".

  7. Russia has fought off everyone for hundreds of years but this guy who was born 20 something years ago somehow understands all complexities of war, civilization and politics and has concluded that Russia is losing and is going to lose? Dude, get a clue and spend the next 5 years learning about the things you're not even aware of before you make such confident assertions. There's a good chance you don't even understand what this conflict is about. FYI, it's not because Russia "invaded" Ukraine.

  8. Building a show on Zeihan,s work and shoulders is cheap, when w can just watch a genuine Zeihan episode. Can't even pronounce his name properly. I'm out.

  9. Why can't russia just be happy with what they had? Trillions of dollars could have gone to the people for state of the art hospitals, schools, living conditions , road and high speed train networks, creating a secure food source vertical farming . Instead they chose to go back to the dark ages, lose 1m soliders, 4 millions intelligent labour force through emigration .

  10. Autonomy Republic of Crimea is a part of Ukraine from 1991, when Ukraine got Independent. Was annexed by russia in 2014. And still is a part of Ukraine based on international law.
Not "Ukraine conflict", but aggressive war where russia as terrorist state is aggressor and made invasion to Ukraine.

  11. Another bullshit artist ! Russia will not collapse as long as putin lives. So stop your imbecile little stories . Poor situation if you have to make a. crust this way
