WellBRIAN. U GOT A NEW TOURING BIKE FOR FREE. I GUESS. HOW LUCKY. I LIKE THE 2 BATTERY LONG DISTANCE 150KM. ???? HOW MANY TIMES week so u stop for coffee and 7 can't stand the taste of the coffee? I'm very fussy. I don't even accept coffee at friends place. Because over. The years I received such strong or poor quality weak water coffee or unfresh coffee. Just wondering Brian
I did a roundtrip in France many years ago, by train, was very nice, still many many places to see. Thank you for sharing, this is a place I want to go. 😊🌸 great video.
Hey Brian, thanks for another great video! It's giving me inspiration for a possible trip. About the bike, in the Netherlands fatbikes, as we call them, are a huge problem.. To ride a moped you need a licence, which you can get from age 16. E bikes, such as the fatbikes, don't fall in that category. Combined with the fact that they're incredibly easy to modify to go faster, makes them extremely popular with the youth. We've got children of 9, 10 years old riding them and going up to 45, 50 kmph. And it's not a rare sight, they're everywhere. The amount of accidents involving these bikes has exploded. So the fact that these companies are actively seeking out YouTubers to promote their product is making me a little uneasy.
If I see someone talking to a phone/camera I think they are doing a Face Time or other App type of call. My Grandbabies think that's how phone calls are, you see the people you are talking to, LOL
Oh yes what a beautiful start to Sunday morning, watching this vlog. The sun is shining here too, and you've inspired me to get out and about for my own little adventure. Thank you Brian.
Really enjoy wandering around looking for coffee and adventure with you Brian.. 😀 Thanks for the day out. (from me in Australia, might have to start thinking about an Ebike 🤔 )
Brian! Coffee, coffee, coffee my whole family loves your Vlogs ❤🇸🇪👍! So relaxed and you are deep…👍 Buy your own castle and make your own race! We guarantee you that we will follow you to the end! Best regards from the your swedish fanclub😀
Apparently…."Ile de Ré translates as the island of ferns. Once occupied by the Romans, the name is believed to come from the Latin word ratis meaning ferns." 🤷
Sometimes I go threw the store and I talk to myself 😂. Do I really need this or oh gosh I forgot milk. 😂. I am who I am. I don’t always do this mind you. Stay safe 💕🙏🇺🇸
Thanks for the blog Brian. Years ago, in the early days of mobile phones I was on holiday in South Carolina visiting my brother from Scotland. We were walking along the street when we passed a huge young man who seemed to be talking to himself. I was a bit wary wondering if he was off his meds or something but realised later he was probably talking on his phone hands free. Nowadays I don’t think people bat an eyelid when people talk to their phones they way you do. My only issue is that folks spend so much time on their devices that they cease to take in their environment or they companions. You don’t though and we are the beneficiaries. BTW Brian talked about “ taking a butchers” at a car for his friend. This is Cockney rhyming slang for a look( in this at a car). “ A butchers” is short for a butcher’s hook = a look” Your welcome.🤣
Had a great time too Brian. Thank you for taking us out for the day. I have always wanted to see France and I am enjoying it seeing it through your adventures and I might add that your cinematography is getting better and better, the music choice great and not to mention your company, fantastic and love your narrations. Have a great day.
Another great video! Thank you for sharing your adventure. Loved the conversation at the busy cafe. We all need to worry less about what others think of us.
I've enjoyed every vlog Brian since your first. Relaxing weekends pottering or exploring the beautiful French countryside, which amazingly still seems so unspoil, with you is pure magic. Keep going & don't change the format it's perfect❤
I love having a chat with you! Whenever you roam is perfectly fine with me. If you ever stray from your true self we will soon let you know but for now I enjoy every minute.
Thanks for another amazing vlog 🎉🎉 it's such a delight to see where you go and explore and you kindly put such thought and effort into it, it's really enjoyed and appreciated 🎉🎉 Great music 🎶🎶 and such an interesting island, Ile de Ré… and its pretty La Flotte harbour. And your comment "I'm not buying a boat!"…is hilarious 😂😂 Your candid chat about filming in front of other people and about throwing yourself into the deep end with regards to facing a fear, is both admirable and courageous! You are a great inspiration and an excellent content creator It's not easy putting oneself in front of a camera, and you are such a natural, you make it look easy. But we know it is daunting and you've conquered it so well 🎉🎉 That ebike looks incredible and your being asked to try it out is kudos to you. 🙌🏻
Your talking about dreading something and finding that was not as bad as you anticipated reminds me of some words of wisdom passed on to me "Anticipation is always worse that the deed." I use this wisdom often.
Please, don't advertise for fatbikes. They are at this moment ruining the the cycle world in th Netherlands: dangerous cycling, heavy accidents, brutal behaviour by the drivers. Espcially chinese products: cheap, advertised to yougsters (> 10 yo), easy to speedup to speeds of 40-60 km/hr, in fact pure motor cycles instead of bikes. I am disappointed….
What a lovely little place…..I Love being near the water, thx for taking us all along. Glad you were able to take advantage of the nice weather. We have some of that white stuff on the ground here right now, but above zero today, so maybe it will melt off. Don't worry about doing your vids in public….so many people are getting used to seeing vloggers more often now….just do you Brian 😂
I love your vlog. I always learn something and the scenery is often so beautiful. I also love your chatty nature, where you share a bit of yourself with us!!! Not to mention all that delicious coffee and the food😱😉♥️

G réât vidéo as usual Brian ! Île de Ré is on my bucket list and up nearer the handle after watching your vlog🤣🤣🤣🫶❤❤
Don't go to ile de re in the summer. I live just over an hour from there and love la rochelle which is near by.
Like the electric bike Brian, but is that large saddle adjustable up, and also the handlebars, as I am 6ft 2in tall ?
Brian, regarding your comment about storage on the bike, I prefer a day backpack as it stays with you and you avoid pilfering that way. 😀
Brian you are a star, and a man after my own heart, coffee, coffee, coffee, so important.😀
Every vlogger has been given one of those bikes.
Great vlog Brian, you should be paid by the French tourist board.
You’re normal Brian, it’s everyone staring at you who are a bit weird!!!😂

The Île d‘Oléron is worth a visit, too.
The bike is perfect for negotiating visits to little villages and towns and leave Pascall somewhere safe.
Darlin Brian, if you're weird, you're my kind of weird. You always lift my spirits! ❤

Hi, I have to ask did you see the donkeys in trousers on the île de Re? (Les ânes culottés)
Apparently…."Ile de Ré translates as the island of ferns. Once occupied by the Romans, the name is believed to come from the Latin word ratis meaning ferns." 🤷
You had me at Oysters
👍
I had the best plate of moules frites of my entire life on the Ile de Re. It was in a pernod cream sauce and I still think about ten years later.
Sometimes I go threw the store and I talk to myself 😂. Do I really need this or oh gosh I forgot milk. 😂. I am who I am. I don’t always do this mind you. Stay safe 💕🙏🇺🇸
I was on the Ile de Re just a few Weeks ago en route between Nantes and Maubuisson. Nice spot.

Another wonderful adventure! Thanks for the great vlog!
Thank you Brian, love your channel.
I think I would be more anxious about putting my camera around a corner and then hoping it’s still there for me to walk past it 😂
Talking to yourself..sign of rapid ageing.. you're an old fart Brain
What a beautiful day. Love your attitude, just keep being you!
