Clothing color would not have made a difference in this case. I don’t think that driver would have been able to react fast enough at the speed they were traveling to make an appreciable difference in the outcome.

100% cyclist’s fault, cut and dried.
He was probably thinking that it was safe to cross since traffic was backed-up going to his right… not realizing that the cars going to his left still had the green.

Title on this is deceptive – I expected it to be the car that was running the red light. Should have been “Cyclist in black clothing runs red light at night, and is hit by a car” As for the cyclst, as Forest Gump says “Stupid is as stupid does”.
