I completed an Imperial Century Ride (161km), starting and finishing in Arnhem. The ride began with a ferry ride from Huissen towards Pannerden, Elten, and Dinxperlo. After Dinxperlo I briefly crossed into Germany. The route included dikes, gravel paths, and asphalt roads, with a large part going through the countryside. I cycled through Winterswijk. Unexpectedly, I ended up in Velp, where I watched a group competing in the NK Wielrennen.

Highlights:
00:27 Entering the ferry from Huissen
24:02 Cycling across a church and cafes in Winterswijk
46:50 Cycling through Doesburg
50:56 Watch a peloton pass by at NK wielrennen

  1. I was born in the Achterhoek, beautiful, innocent scenery. The nearest bij small town was Doesburg with nice old houses. Good to see this again!😊
