  1. It’s definitely trashed. Check your brake pad. It might be a bit close to the tire and makes contact at that point. You didn’t want the same thing happening to your new tire.

    It might be happening only when the brake is applied. Check with the brake lever is partially pulled in as well as when it’s fully released.

  2. No one likes to spend money on tires but you can buy a whole lot of tires for the cost of reconstructive surgery after a tire fails and you crash.

  3. Remember that scene from “Chernobyl” when fuel rod channel lids start to lift from the floor? You’re at that point.
