Activists and governments from some of the most climate vulnerable countries are spearheading the demand for a Fossil Fuel Treaty: a global exit plan to end the era of oil, coal and gas. This is a fight for the future and for the transition to clean, green energy that leaves no worker, community or country behind.

Live from Dundee, renowned Filipina youth climate justice activist Mitzi Jonelle Tan is joined by a panel of speakers to consider how we can campaign locally to build the international movement to transition from toxic fossil fuels and plan for a greener, cleaner future. Speakers will include:

* Mitzi Jonelle Tan, Filipina youth climate justice activists
* Rosie Hampton, Just Transition Campaigner for Friends of the Earth Scotland
* Claire Larkin, Director of Parents for Future Scotland

With Liz Murray, Head of Scottish Campaigns at Global Justice Now, chairing.

  1. To think about my education in Engineering Thermodynamics was in Dundee University in the Fulton building back in the 1980s and my lecturer designed the turbo generator for the 50 year old Intercity 125 Diesel Electric trains these folks probably used to get to Dundee Railway Station.
