This week is the first of a multi part series where myself and a friend take to the roads and tracks in search of adventure, but do we find it ?
We jump on a train and head out East, starting from Ipswich train station we soon find fun and games on the unexpected Ipswich BMX track before heading through the woods where
I discover one of my brakes has completely failed. That should make the bike packing trip a bit more interesting. Soon we’re near the coast while we ride along the tracks by Trimley Marshes beside the river Orwell near the Port of Felixstowe and it’s impressive container yard filled with huge cranes and trucks moving things around. Then it’s back into the rural countryside for more gravel and track riding before finding a place for a quick lunch stop.
Where we stock up on supplies for the next part of the trip. This should be a hell of an adventure. I hope you like it half as much as I did making it.
