A country that supports and takes part in gen 0 c1de has no principles and when it does that in servitude to another country, it is not a country, it's a proxy. No matter how hard people like Lotuseaters try to use race as the sole defining quality for Nationality they will fail because race is a flawed social construct that divides the population up in a completely meaningless fashion. Ethnicity is a much better criteria for defining a country but that has to be combined with a coherent set of principles if you want to make Britain great again.

Best described as a leftist who wishes to conserve the leftism that was left behind as leftism "progressed" beyond what they considered reasonable.
All leftists become conservative when their movement begins to attack their sensibilities.
Gay rights? Sure. But trans people begin to appropriate their movement. The gay rights person to which this is too far wishes to conserve their gay rights movement.
Trans rights? Sure. But then the child abusers begin transitioning kids. The trans rights person seeks to conserve their movement.
And so on.
The "con" in neocon doesn't mean "conservative". It means "con man".
Neocons aren't moderate/liberal Republicans. They arent Conservatives via Overton Window shift. Neocons are Uniparty warhawks. Ie, big government "Conservatives" where their conservation isn't freedoms and liberty, but the status quo.
The 'trans' issue has created a lot of this. We would do better to gatekeep these lefties out of rw circles and encourage them to shift the left back to sanity instead. Buttons is a dreadful person, very wobbly and incoherent position wrt 'trans', vile to any who point this out.

Great segment. The slow incremental slide into diluted leftism is criminal. I’ve always noticed that about republicans here in the states. Why are there only converts of leftists to the right and not the other way around? Because the left is so insane and communist that even principled leftists have lines they won’t allow to be crossed. So when they are crossed, they convert to the right or somewhere towards rhe middle.

it’s difficult because at the core of the universe.. I believe it is literally survival of the fittest. It doesn’t give a single solitary f*ck about your feelings or morals.
The further things go left the further we try and separate ourselves from that fact.. and we separate ourselves from actual meritocracy which is survival of the fittest.
I do personally think we as human beings live happier and healthier the more closely we live with how we evolved to live. But most religious people have a problem with that idea at a certain point on that side of the spectrum.. Even though my idea ends up meaning that humans should live more traditionally with family values.. BECAUSE that is how we evolved to live. That ends up being the correct answer in my mind. It also means that the progression of technology is directly at odds with that fact.. It means technology will get to a point where it separates us soooo much from our biological normal that it isn’t sustainable for humans.
I’m not sure if Carl actually agrees with me since he is an atheist too. In essence.. I’m about as far right as you can get like he says. No religion necessary. You just have to accept that the universe doesn’t care about you or your feelings and wokeness is absolutely pointless and antithetical to life itself. Lefties who switch to the right and educate themselves, completely abandoning their former beliefs are a very small minority. I don't know if this is the case in the UK, but in the states the term "neocon" has devolved so badly that it now only means "Republican who supports any war, anywhere in the world, for any reason"
To the left, neocon is synonymous with "blxxdthirsty wxrmongering psychxpxth" which is completely correct. However, according to rightists who say things like "I'm fxrther rxght than Genghis Khan," that's not necessarily a bad thing. When someone on the right hears the word neocon, the first association that should pop into their minds is "trxxtor," which is one of the ultimate sins according to right-wing values (and actually neutral-to-good to leftists criticizing them purely as wxrmongers).
The main characteristic of neocons is that they are the most gigantic trxxtors to everyone and everything imaginable. Even themselves, in the grand scheme. All they are beholden to is money and power for themselves as individuals in the short-term current moment in this one individual lifetime.
People think they're beholden to or subordinate to Isrxxl or whatever, but they'll turn them into Ukxxxxe at a moment's notice if it suddenly becomes profitable enough. Chxnx for some reason has historically preferred them in past erections since they are more willing to militantly defend trade with and complete dependence on Chxnx, but the neocons are also the same ones chomping at the bit for a hot wxr with Chxnx that they'll start the same way they started the current cxnflict with Rxssxx whenever they feel like it's profitable enough (not when they feel like it's strategic enough or they can actually win it, just when it's profitable).
I have no idea what Rufo's fxreign policy views are, so I can't call him a neocon really. I don't really understand Harry's inclination to just label all milquetoast disaffected libs as neocons when that's an extremely, extremely specific thing (you can't just call a wxrmonger or trxxtorous fxreign policy establishment in any country in the world that either; it refers to a specific US political faction and their surrogates and associates around the world in specific).
I don't know what Rufo's economic views are other than cxmmunism bad, so I can't really call him a neolib.
The worst I could call him is a shxtlib for his views on immxgrxtxxn in the US, and that view is sort of one quarter to one half or so of the entire neoliberal worldview, but that doesn't make him a neoliberal per se, but it does make him a liberal in general. So just a general pejorative for liberals is enough and more accurate.
