So we the TDF that made all riders cycle in scorching heat, starting each stage mid day, then moving to the vuelta with a TTT in a pouring evening .
Andy Kron… love that name!
bring back that signature fonk music hehe
Who is the Bora rider in the portrait they put up for Remco? 1:12
What a mess so far…
1:11 that is NOT Evenepoel 🤔
Hope to see more from Andreas Kron in this Vuelta👍
Shame the poor riders….
the rain in spain falls mainly on the bike race !?
i don't care for the bodily safety of the riders whatsoever
I just want to see them going all out at all times on the television screen
there are no real men anymore
/sarcasm
Why can't pro cycling simply mandate big rain tires for these days, put 'em all on safer, slower tires and take away some of these slides and skids and, dare I say, poor bike handling. Not impressed when stars like Jonas play 'slow down, guys' while some lesser-known riders are actually racing their bikes in a professional bike race. If you wanna go slow, as JV did yesterday, I respect that, it was wise of them to do that. But don't cry the blues about riders who are comfortable in the rain, perhaps they have trained for it and this is the big stage for them to show their chops. And I still don't understand why there is no mandated body armor for these riders and riders know, if they wanted it or insisted upon it, they would have high-quality gear provided by top-notch sponsors. It'd be great, suit 'em up like ice hockey stars so they can take a hit, if only in the rain for starters. And somehow those hockey players are nimble as. So I suppose I am wearying of rider complaints about the rain. It rains in Europe all the time, not the organizers fault. And wheels touches and subsequent flippage, my goodness, figure it out with some sort of bump guards or fenders or something. Zero need for riders to be subjected to those sorts of crashes from fatigue or brakes or whatever. And I get that it happens, happened to me once as a bike messenger in DC, weary as the afternoon was in full rush-hour tilt and drifted into the side of a delivery truck and thankfully recovered after a few revs of my left pedal within the right=rear wheel well.
finish looked ok to me!
These riders will soon moan the cobbles out of Paris Roubaix. Get on with it. You chose an outdoor sport. It rains. Ride slower. Crashes happen especially if people are trying to win. Which is the whole point.
riders from different teams get along well, like Roglic and Mas. It was a tough sport. But no agreement to exclude cheaters, why in your opinion?
Congrats to the riders for making their voice heard. Their safety is crucial.
These Danes 🇩🇰 must be stopped one way or another 😂
When it’s rainy and below 25 degrees Celsius, you just know that Vingegaard will demand changes to the stage.
And the Olympic 100 meters is only 80 meter because its raining….i thought these guys were professionals
Yet another Great Dane 😀
JV telling everyone to slow down… snore. Has there ever been a less likable team? Hope Remco destroys them.
This is by far the most excited I've ever been for the Vuelta. I really hope it starts living up to the hype sooner rather than later.
In GP and Moto GP you take a chance on grippier but slower tyres, why not in cycling. Just riding hard and falling then blaming the conditions isn't a good way to ride surely
There should be no race in wet conditions at all. Riders' safety must be supreme.
Go Kron, hope it won’t be the last Danish 🇩🇰 win in this Vuelta 😊
At least G got his crash in early, always a sign he's on good form.
Piccolo is gonna win la vuelta
Smart decision by the teams to back things off. Still a long way to go. Hope the weather clears up so riders can actually push themselves.
If the riders truly wanted to make a STAND : they should have just sat up and ALL came to the finish together
Can Jonas or Primoz still win this? How much are they down on Remco after the ttt? They’ll get it back in mountains or will he keep up?
Is it me or this guy's talks as his bored ass hell….shame….
looks like the UEA emirates rider intentionally cross to crash roglic? tim not sure if he skids or not? or im just over thinking. what a shame to do this tactics.
I thought they were going to ride at night again.
I'm going to slit my wrists if this voice over guy continues
Great to see a Lotto rider win
The riders will be wanting the pave in Paris- Roubaix covered with tarmac next!🤷🏻♂️
Great commentary, by Kelly on eurosport 😊
👍🏼☘️🏁🥇🍀🍀🍀🍀🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇷🇺🇷🇺
You will wait very long time…waiting for Vuelta director Javier Guillen to apologize to riders. Typical Spanish corrupted bosses, Have you ever heard of Rubiales?….likewise, very corrupted with all the Spanish media kissing his ass
Andy Kraaaaaawn? Dude maybe atleast try lol.
At what point is Roglic going to invest some time in learning to ride a bike? Seriously, this guy has below amateur level bike handling skills. Why does JV feel entitled to neutralize the race and demand everyone else wait for Roglic? At what point should he not suffer his own consequences if he doesn't want to invest in bike handling?
Second day and the weather is hurting these athletes! Nothing worse fot these guys than to hit the deck so many times in one stage! Wishing quick recover!
What is it that these youngsters can no longer ride in the rain?
Andreas dedicated his win for his dead mom and for Tijl De Decker nice gesture. Congrats Andreas well deserved!
What's with the commentator this season? Feels like he's about to fall asleep half of the time….
yeah,
guys getting paid to grow food or make trains is real. getting paid to ride a bike is ,albeit dangerous, a freaking great job that is unreal. get it?
shut up and ride . . .
