  1. I think your argument would be valid if Europe acted independently… Europe started acting against China because AMERICA told them to. Surely you know that !!! 😩

  2. As a Chinese, we have give up hope on European Country. No matter got tariffs or not. We are very sure, those EU Luxury product like Wine, Car, Handbag, Watch, Cosmetic & many other will be out of China market within next few year.

  3. Amazing thing is France knew it will happened and they still went and cast the affirmative vote to impose tariff on Chinese EV against WTO rules.
Is that being smart or acting stupid? 🤔

  4. Its everthing what EU wants and never what China wants. You call this trading? As for subsidies, US and EU also provide big subsidies and big tax cuts to their own big corporations, how come China cannot do that too?

  5. European wines, luxury bags can be sold when Chinese public have positive public images on Europeans, Chinese people would love exotic stuff when Europeans are friendly, but if the Europeans become hostile the story will be different.Tariffs will not boost luxury sales, buying luxury stuff from hostile countries doesn't give you the satisfaction anymore no matters the price drop or rise ,it makes you a traitor.Once the trade war begins there will be more boycott on European products, and the market will soon be taken by local Chinese companies or other friendly countries' companies, and it will be extremely hard for these European companies to take back the lost market.

  6. Chinese tariff or tax on cognac alone may not be enough to compensate for the higher EU tariffs on chinese EVs. And why other EU members did not get hit by the chinese tariff burdens? Should the Dutch cheese be subjected to chinese tariff also?..

  7. the eu. people because they will have a lot of brandy to drink very lucky people.maybe china is de coupleing from europe the global south brics. are lucky they will have the chinese market lucky people
