Hey fellas, ugly birkenstocks look rubbish mate!
I live in the US about 40 miles north of Atlanta and if it wasn't for your accent and the prices marked with the £ symbol I could have sworn you were in my local Costco I visit about every other week. It is exactly the same.
The socks thing got me. It's so NORMAL! You are a joy to watch.
I love your videos! I feel like I am shopping with my granddaughter when you are talking. My granddaughters don’t live near me, so I can pretend that you’re one of them!
Hannah, now you know why we Americans are overweight! All the junk food and sweets that are pushed at us!
I'm in California and grew up calling what you called a dressing gown, a robe, housecoat or kimono.
Our American Costco is super crowded yours is empty . Wow
Halloween sweets, economy size bags.
"Let the fun win". 🎉
And break the bank… 😮
Dressing gowns are meant to be silk with lace.
You wear them over your matching night gown….
Think old Hollywood movies, and seduction.
A bath robe should be all cotton terry cloth.
Preferably with padded silk lapels…
While those polyester (most likely), comfort coats are for snuggeling up in front of your telly.
(Never mind if you spill stuff on them. They clean easily)
❤😊
Interesting to see and compare to the USA Hannah thank you! Almost Halloween and i have nowhere to put a giant skeleton but it would be cool for a big house 🏡🏠
Not sure what you were expecting, but except for a few different brands and alcohol (can't buy alcohol in New York Costcos), looks like a typical Costco here. We have sales tax vs VAT and not shown on price cards.
Can't say how the prices compare as I didn't do any conversions. Membership limits may also be a difference, but wasn't a problem for you.
Costco in london is not very crowded which is nice. Costco in the states hard to move around. Shopping cart traffic jams instore and parking lot is mayhem angry and aggressive fighting for parking. London costco is peaceful.
Did you try looking for pumpkin muffins or pie.
Disneyland for kids, Costco for adults.
Maybe Costco are being sympathetic towards the GB market as far as halloween goes, as we don't to it like the americans do. Thankfully.
Love all your videos Hannah but Halloween comes far too soon for me, never would be ideal. Another American import we could do without! Wasn't a thing when I was young.
In Canada we call it a house coat not a robe or a dressing gown, house coat!
Dressing coat = house coat
I'm northern and I'd say that dressing gown is the usual name… robe is quite american right?
In the States, we call dressing gowns "robes".
Something Yanks would only know, probably: A magazine, named Consumer Reports (U.S.A. paper and internet), reviews products. When the magazine reviews a product that is Costco's Kirkland brand, it usually ranks as the very best or second. The food items are very good. Not attractively packaged, but delicious – Yanks opinion. (I was told by a Brit, in her travel video, that Halloween is a U.S.A. thing, not English.) In the U.S.A., Costco allows anybody to eat the cheap food (hot dog) without a store membership.
Costco pushes American Express in Uk. Went to Costco in USA last month and couldn’t pay as only had Amex or Mastercard. They only took visa!
In the USA we don’t really have pumpkin cake but Pumpkin pie yes. You should try the pumpkin pie and pecan pie if your COSTCO has them. They are huge so have family or friends over.
Don’t bother with candy corn it’s not great.
at north east (New Jersey and around) it called bathrobe. 🙂
