Hi, I did a short solo bike tour in the Victorian Alps ( 4 hours from my home). I caught a train from Melbourne to the starting point and there were two groups also with touring bikes. I tried to engage/communicate with both separate groups as we boarded and disembarked the train and then also on the rail trail. Absolutely nil friendliness. So it’s not unique to one culture,,,,,,

I'm watching you Y-tube collection . I'm only into a bit but it appears that you may be vegan? how great to see as a lonely vegan ti the USA.
The last 8 years i bought a number of tents and seeing these video's , i'm almost stunned at the time and effort it takes if the inner and outer tent do not go up together with the tentpoles. Maybe that is not possible with that size tents. But wonderfull trip, i enjoyed watching.
