On the legendary Congo River, Commander Aimé is at the helm of a gigantic wooden raft the size of a football field. With his men, he is trying to transport 220 tree trunks linked together by cables from Kisangani to Kinshasa. The raft is also the cheapest means of transport for the most deprived who wish to reach the capital. On board, danger is daily, injuries, sandbanks and storms do not spare the men. For those who take the trails along the river, the conditions are not better. Without public transportation, travelers have no choice but to board freight trucks for an epic journey.

  1. Our leaders, the government could have prevented this , but instead of fixing the roads and providing for the population all the money go into their pockets. What world we leaving? In 2024 some part of Africa still like this, this is too much and unacceptable!

  2. These guys never thought of using TWO boats.. maybe three or four? It couldn't cost all that much to have a boat or two next to these rafts to guide them. For safety.. saving lives and isht… Like a tug boat.🙄😂😂❤❤👏👏👏🍄

  3. All African countries are passing through this same problem the colonial masters brought on Africans. The indirect rule is allowing selected blacks who are willing to do the bid of their colonial masters. Sorry for we Africans. From Nigeria.

  4. This documentary is heartbreaking. That human beings go through these inhumanities in their land of gold in this 21st century, is simply inconceivable, to be honest. Macron's France is sucking up the lands of Congo and taking away everything to France and leaving the resources owners in multi-dimensional poverty, hardships and sufferings, unimaginable. France and the Congolese leaders are just evil and very wicked set of people. Seeing your own people suffer like this and no milk of kindness and empathy? This is crazy.

O God Almighty, please send help to your children in Congo.
